Last Friday Night Part 2

After dinner we headed to CenterStage where the rest of our friends are. Food was served shortly after we arrived and it saddened me that I only get to eat 1 stick of barbecue (which was really good) because we we're still full from our dinner at Italianni's. At the first few minutes they were playing a number of mellow songs and when we started singing Avril Lavigne's Complicated the night began. 

I don't want to go into details of what happened last night. It's not like I got drunk or whatever. Actually, Bj, Ly and I left early but we dropped by Bubble Tea for milk tea before going home. I have no photos for that, though, since my camera's memory is full already. 

It was a well spent night. I hope to have more of these for this year.  Sequel to this night would totally be awesome.

Last Friday night part 1

A friday night after one week of stressful examination is worth making unforgettable.  We all deserved to wind out after those sleepless nights, cluttered thoughts and mind-boggling test questions phase. So we decided to spend the whole night forgetting about school with good company and good food.

We finished our last test 30 minutes early than the allotted time and proceeded to my dormitory to search the internet for a good restaurant to dine at. Having a lot of options to choose from already made it hard for us to decide where but our clashing cravings made it more difficult. One wants pasta while the other one wants sushi. Where to eat is always an award winning question. Haha anyway, we decided to "just decide" while on the way to Tomas Morato. After much discussion and debate, we finally came up with a decision- Italianni's.

I have to admit, it was my first time there. I cant remember how many times I've asked my friends to treat me there whenever we pass by their branch in TriNoma on the way to Gelatissimo. I love their interiors and their floral covered couches! It looks cozy enough for me. And that's why I was a bit hyped when we decided to eat there. I was one happy girl last night :)

I swear the food was great. We finished everything! It was worth every penny we spent hahaha I wish our friend Jillian was there though. It would have been a lot more fun if she was there. :)

There were only a few pictures because I forgot my camera's memory card on my desk! Gaaaaaahd :( But thank technology for internal memory. I made use of what little space it has. And there you go.

Back from the big break!

Its 5 o'clock in the morning....... and so goes the song.

Hi everyone! I know it has been a long time since I last posted in my blog. I have been busy with my priorities- school (mostly) and some other personal stuff which I will be talking about maybe some time in the future. :)  Today is actually the last day of our examination week. And I have been up since 2am, please don't ask me why because I don't even know the reason myself. Since insomnia has taken its toll on me, I decided to visit my blog and bring it back to life. 

They say the 2nd semester of this school year (I am currently on my third year of being a pharmacy student) is the hardest of them all. Imagine my life- all 4 major subjects: Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Manufacturing and Quality Control merged into one semester. The complicated problems of titration, meeting deadlines of our packaging materials, scientific names and family of unusual plants and who would ever forget the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of a variety of drugs (which I'm starting to love). Yes, we also have classes on Saturday. I barely get some rest on weekdays especially between Mondays-Thursdays. And on weekends, I'm usually out pigging out somewhere. 

So there goes my boring life. I think I should get some sleep considering I have an exam at 1pm today. Yes, today! I will try to write about the events I failed to blog about last year when I get back from our family dinner tonight in Tomas. I will write about that too, of course! :)

Early birthday present

These are some of the photos from an immature shoot my cousin and I did the first week I arrived in Pangasinan. She said that it was going to be her birthday present for me so I gave in.

For this shoot, we used my Sony DigiCam that my Uncle gave me.

There wasn't really a "look" we're trying to go for. We just made use of what we had.

Bipolar Sunday

Can I just say that the weather last Sunday was just as bipolar as I was? One minute it's going to rain and the next it's all sunny. I have to admit that when the rain poured, it poured really hard and I got quite nervous. Of course I didn't want our exams to be postponed. That will subtract a day or two from our much awaited semestral break. This is actually my birthday month so I want it to be special. I've been trying to fill all my days with fun activities. Haha! Well anyway, I have two more subjects to review for and one more day to suffer!

Here's how I spent my Sunday reviewing for the final examinations:

I'm a huge fan of apple pies. I've tried a lot of apple pies from different pastry shops. And I could say that this one was quite disappointing. I didn't like how it was presented. But I did like the taste of it with cheese.

Buffalo Wings

This has the original buffalo wings flavor. And what made us more happy is that it tasted just right.

And my Spicy Shrimp Pasta

It's a tomato based pasta with a hint of chili. I was also disappointed with my pasta because it was too creamy. I wasn't even able to eat half of it. When I tried to reheat it the morning after it tasted better. Haha! 

Despite all the disappointments and the unpredictable weather, it was still a happy day. I had the perfect spot at Starbucks, I was able to review for my exams plus my friends and I shared a lot of laughs together. Good times. :)

I just love Sundays.  ♡
